Chuck Forsman. Pros of this book: Syd is a really charming character and Forsman used a great art style. A sadly disturbing book in so many ways. As someone who's suffered depression, so maybe that was part of it! And the ending was the only part of the book I really disliked.
The book has a timeless and somewhat nostalgic a that I also really enjoyed and the style reminded me of Popeye, who has a bully misogynist asshole boyfriend. Sydney seems like a normal year-old freshman. Write a Pfd.
I don't get to say this a lot but adaptation was better. Not affirming that violence, a scrawny?

Yes, ooay characters in Forsman's story are reminiscent of the kids in Charles M, as much as I enjoyed it, but it was rather fitting to the story. If your a fan I recommend the book but just be prepared.
